The Apollo Smart Door Handle is a fully-featured keyless door handle ideal for residential homes, apartments, holiday lets, managed rentals, and small offices. Unlock using fingerprint, passcode, RFID key card, mobile app, or the supplied mechanical backup keys. For remote control and access management when you’re away from home, pair the Apollo with an optional Wi-Fi gateway/bridge (sold separately).

Important difference vs Origin Smart – Plus: Apollo is built from aluminium and does not include the internal lock / “Super Secure Switch” feature.

Compatibility & installation

The Apollo is designed to accommodate the majority of standard “lift handle to lock” multipoint locking systems (commonly found on uPVC and composite doors). If you’re unsure, send us a photo of your existing handle (front) and the door edge showing the multipoint strip — we’ll advise before you order.

Installation note: We recommend professional installation so your door alignment and multipoint operation are checked and you get the best performance from your smart handle.

Power, battery life & backup entry

• Power: 4 × AA batteries
• Low-battery warnings: alerts before power runs out
• Emergency access: USB-C emergency power option if batteries fully deplete

Battery life depends on usage and environment. For best performance, we recommend refreshing batteries periodically (especially on high-traffic doors).

Remote access (optional Wi-Fi gateway/bridge)

Add a compatible Wi-Fi gateway/bridge (sold separately) to control your lock while you’re away. Remote features can include unlocking from anywhere, sharing and managing access, and viewing activity/door status through the app (gateway required).
