Turn a suitable timber, wooden or internal door into an automatically locking door with the Blusafe Timber Door Auto-Lock Conversion Kit. When the door closes against the matching keep, the mechanism automatically throws the full deadbolt. There is no handle to lift and no extra locking step to remember. Pair it with a Blusafe Apollo or Origin Smart Plus smart handle, sold separately, and unlock using any valid method supported by your fitted handle.

Key features

Closing the door activates the mechanism and projects the deadbolt into the keep. Ideal when you want locking to happen without asking anyone to lift the handle.

Use the valid fingerprints, cards, app access or other entry methods supported by your Apollo or Origin Smart Plus. The fitted smart handle controls access.
✓Universal handing
The kit supports left- and right-handed installation. Your door and frame still need to suit the mortice and keep dimensions.

The supplied frame-side keep works with the lock’s trigger, latch and deadbolt. Two recessed pockets are included for the keep.

Will it fit my door?
For suitable timber, wooden and internal doors fitted with an Apollo or Origin Smart Plus. Universal handing means it can be configured for either side of the door; it does not mean every door is a direct fit. This mechanism is larger than the standard Blusafe lift-lever timber kit, so check the mortice, handle alignment and frame recess before installation.

Setting up
A competent fitter should prepare the door mortice and frame recess, fit the lock body and matching keep, and align the smart handle spindle. Check the full closing, automatic locking and valid-unlock cycle with access maintained before putting the door into use.
GOOD TO KNOW
This is a mechanical conversion kit. The Apollo or Origin Smart Plus smart handle is sold separately. Unlock options depend on the fitted handle and its configuration; the kit does not add a keypad, wireless connectivity or a new app. The supplied keep and recessed pockets need suitable space in the frame.
Frequently asked questions
Do I still need to lift the handle to lock?
No. The mechanism throws the deadbolt automatically when the door closes against the keep. This auto-lock model does not use lift-to-lock operation.
How do I unlock it?
Use a valid unlock method supported by the fitted Apollo or Origin Smart Plus, then operate the handle as normal. Features such as PIN entry or remote app access depend on the handle and any accessories you have.
Does it include an Origin Smart Plus or Apollo?
No. The smart handle is sold separately. This product supplies the auto-lock mortice and frame-side fitting components.
Can it be fitted to left- and right-handed doors?
Yes. The kit is suitable for left- and right-handed installation, subject to the door and frame dimensions.
Is it a direct replacement for the lift-lever timber kit?
Check the dimensions first. The auto-lock body is larger and may require changes to the mortice and frame recess.
Why choose it for a holiday let or hotel room?
On a suitable door, guests can close the door behind them and the deadbolt engages automatically. They do not need to remember to lift the handle.
