Your Breeze or Contour does the clever part — fingerprint, app, code. This is the hardworking bit behind the handle that actually holds the door: the same adjustable tubular latch that ships in every Blusafe box, now available on its own. Swap out a tired or damaged latch, fit your lock to a second door, or take the handle with you when you move — without hunting for a part that "should" fit. It is compatible with the Blusafe Contour and Breeze — and if you're not sure whether it will work for you, message us for advice before you order.
One latch, two backsets. The body telescopes between 60 mm and 70 mm, so it covers the doors the Breeze and Contour are built for. The strike plate, dust box and fixing screws come in the pack — door side and frame side sorted in a single order, with no trip to the hardware shop.

Works with
Blusafe Breeze, Breeze Rose and Breeze Long Backplate fingerprint handles, and Blusafe Contour and Contour V smart locks — in Black, Satin Chrome or Brushed Nickel. The latch is identical across the whole range — only the handle on the outside changes.
NOT SURE IT FITS?
Measure from the edge of the door to the centre of the handle spindle hole. 60 mm or 70 mm and you're covered. Anything else, or if you're stuck at any point, just ask — send us a photo of your door edge and we'll confirm the right part before you spend a penny.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the same latch that came with my Breeze or Contour?
Yes — it's the adjustable tubular latch supplied in the box with both locks, so it drops into the existing cut-out and lines up with the handle spindle and fixing screws.
How do I switch between 60 mm and 70 mm?
Hold the faceplate and pull the rear of the latch body outwards until it clicks into the 70 mm position; push it back in for 60 mm. Do this before fitting, then check the spindle hole in the latch sits centrally in the door bore.
What size is the faceplate, and will it fit my existing cut-out?
The faceplate is 25 mm wide by 57 mm long with radius ends and 41 mm screw-hole centres — the standard tubular latch footprint. If your door already has a Breeze or Contour fitted, it drops straight into the same recess. The full dimension drawing is in the photo gallery.
Does it include the handle?
No — this is the latch, strike plate and dust box only. The Breeze and Contour handles are sold separately and already include one latch.
Will it work with a different smart lock or a standard lever handle?
It is made and tested for the Blusafe Breeze and Contour. Other tubular-latch handles with a matching spindle may fit, but we can't guarantee it — ask us with the make and model and we'll tell you.
My door is uPVC with a lift-up handle. Is this the right part?
No — that's a multipoint door and uses a different mechanism. This latch is for standard latch doors. For multipoint doors look at the Origin Smart Plus or Apollo.
