StarTag X3 Bluetooth Tracker — Apple Find My or Android Find Hub

Find your keys, bags and luggage from the app already on your phone.
The StarTag X3 is a small, round Bluetooth tracker that works with Apple Find My on iPhone and Android Find Hub on Android. Pair it in minutes, clip it to whatever you keep losing, and see it on the map or ring it when it's nearby. No subscription, no extra app, and a standard CR2032 battery you can swap yourself.
Most trackers make you pick a side. The StarTag X3 doesn't: it carries both the "Works with Apple Find My" and "Works with Android Find Hub" badges, so it suits an iPhone household, an Android household, or a family with one of each. Pair it with the phone you use every day and it joins the same map as your other devices — no separate tracker app, no account to set up, nothing to pay each month.
It is a slim black disc with a lanyard slot at the edge and a built-in speaker on the face. In the box you get a silicone holder, a metal keyring and an adhesive mount, so the same tag can live on your keys today and on a suitcase or in a toolbox next week. When the battery eventually runs down, it takes a standard CR2032 coin cell — the kind sold in every supermarket — rather than a charging cable you have to keep track of.

a standard coin cell you can change yourself — no charging, no proprietary cable
✓Three ways to attach
silicone holder with metal keyring for keys and bags, adhesive mount for remotes, bikes and tool cases, or thread a lanyard through the slot

What's in the box
Setting up
iPhone: open Find My, go to Items, tap Add Item and choose Other Supported Item, then press the button on the tag so it can be found. Give it a name and it's done. Android: make sure Find Hub is enabled in your Google settings, press the button on the tag and accept the pairing notification (or add it from the Find Hub app) — the quick-start card in the box shows the button sequence. Either way it takes a couple of minutes and there is nothing else to install. You'll need a compatible iPhone or Android phone with a signed-in Apple Account or Google Account and up-to-date software.
GOOD TO KNOW
This is a Bluetooth tracker, not a GPS unit. It reports its location whenever an iPhone (Find My) or Android phone (Find Hub) passes within Bluetooth range, which in towns and cities happens constantly — but there is no live tracking in the middle of nowhere, the app may show the last reported location rather than a live one, and it can't be used to follow a person. If you need a live GPS tracker with a SIM, this isn't the right product; message us and we'll say so.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with both iPhone and Android?
Yes — it works with Apple Find My and with Android Find Hub. Each tag is paired to one network at a time, so you choose Apple or Android when you set it up. If you change phone platform later, reset the tag and pair it again.
Do I need an app or a subscription?
No. It uses Find My on iPhone and Find Hub on Android, both of which are part of the phone and free to use. There is no StarTag app and nothing to pay after the tag.
How do I change the battery?
Open the rear cover as shown on the quick-start card, lift out the old CR2032 and drop a new one in with the same side facing up, then refit the cover. CR2032 cells are the standard coin cell sold in supermarkets and newsagents.
Can I use it on my van, my tools or my dog?
It's made for belongings — keys, bags, luggage, a tool case left on site, the spare van fob. It is not a live GPS tracker, so Apple and Google both advise against relying on tracker tags for pets, people or recovering stolen vehicles, and so do we. For a van or a dog that roams, look at a GPS tracker with a SIM instead.
Will it fit AirTag holders and accessories?
It has its own silicone holder, keyring and adhesive mount in the box, so you don't need to buy any. Some third-party AirTag holders may fit and some won't — the X3 is a similar round disc but not built to AirTag dimensions, so we can't promise it.
Does it open my Blusafe smart lock?
No — it's an item finder we sell alongside our locks, not an RFID card or a key fob for them. It's for finding the keys you still carry: the back door, the van, the garage, the office. Blusafe locks open by fingerprint, code, card or app as before.
Can I use one tag on two phones?
A tag belongs to one account. On iPhone you can share an item with family members through Find My; on Android, sharing is handled through Find Hub. If two people each need their own tracker, buy two.
